Simply put, to avoid copyright claims on YouTube when using Canva, you need to purchase and get licenses for Pro audio tracks. I show you how with these instructions directly from the Canva website:
To avoid content ID claims, connect your social media or video platform account where you’ll post the Canva Pro audio before posting them.
Pro audio tracks have a crown icon on the Audio tab in the editor and when added to designs.
- Open the design in Canva with premium audio.
- On the editor menu bar, click Share.
- Click Download.
- On the File type dropdown, select MP4 Video.
- Click the Connect social accounts link, and click Connect next to the platform.
- Log in to the account that you’ll use to post the video.
- Complete your purchase or download.
Following these steps tells the social media or video platform where you want to post that you have the license to use the premium audio track.

- To use a track on several designs, repurchase its license for each design. For unlimited use of premium tracks, upgrade to Canva Pro or Canva for Teams.
