This greeting card company is interested in you if you can write contemporary prose or poetry written from personal experience that reflects the genuine thoughts and feelings people today want to communicate to one another, but don’t always know how to put into words.
Preferred topics include: love, friendship, family, missing you, and other real-life subjects. Writings on special occasions (birthday, anniversary, congratulations, etc.), as well as the challenges, difficulties, and aspirations of life are also considered.

So, if you want to make money witting greeting cards for Blue Mountain Arts, send as many different works as you wish to editorial@sps.com. Be sure to include your name, address, and telephone number. Expect a reply within 1-2 weeks as receipt of your submission. If you do not hear from them again within 4 months, you can assume that your work is no longer under consideration.
Pay is $300 per poem for the worldwide, exclusive rights to publish your submission on a greeting card and other products, and $50 per poem for one-time use in a book.
If your submission is accepted, prepare to sign paperwork and wait for payment within 12 to 18 months.
Calypso Cards
Calypso Cards, Inc publishes and distributes several lines of sophisticated, contemporary and innovative greeting cards. They work with a handful of talented freelance artists, illustrators and ghostwriters to provide fresh, original artwork and copy that approach the greeting card from a new angle.

Viabella
Viabella accepts submissions both writing and art for all holidays and occasions including humor. Allow at least 3-6 weeks from end of submission period for them to complete their review process.
According to Teri Desautels, the line and verse director, “Payment can vary quite a bit depending on the submission type and number of pieces. Typically art earns more than writing; humor writing pays more than traditional writing.”
