On November 18, the province of Saskatchewan in Canada held its biggest ever round of provincial invitations in 2021, through the Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program [SINP] International Skilled Worker [ISW] immigration pathway.

The SINP is one of the most popular Provincial Nominee Programs (PNP) that offers and Canadian PR immigration pathway options for international applicants who want to immigrate to Canada without job offer.

Through the SINP, Saskatchewan invites Canada resident applications from international candidates who are interested in settling in Saskatchewan. The province then nominates qualified applicants (aka SINP nominees) to submit their PR applications to the federal government – through Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada [IRCC] – for Canada Permanent Residence.

A total of of 633 invitations were issued (208 under Occupations in Demand and 425 under Express Entry) to the candidates for being nominated by Saskatchewan for Canadian permanent residence as follows:

Expression of Interest (EOI) points scored by lowest ranked candidate: 65

Total candidates invited to apply: 208

All the Occupations In-Demand candidates invited to apply under the Saskatechewan International Skilled Worker (ISW) Occupations in Demand stream had Educational Credential Assessments (ECA) reports.

Candidates  were selected in the November 18, 2021 SINP draw from the following 14 eligible occupations as per their National Occupational Classification [NOC] codes:

0711 – Construction Managers

0016 – General Manager – Goods Production, Utilities, Transportation and Construction

7242 – Industrial electricians

0712 – Home building and renovation managers

7294 – Painters and decorators (except interior decorators)

7231 – Machinists and machining and tooling inspectors

7281 – Bricklayers

7243 – Power system electricians

7201 – Contractors and supervisors, machining, metal forming, shaping and erecting trades and related occupations

7371 – Crane operators

7203 – Contractors and supervisors, pipefitting trades

7235 – Structural metal and platework fabricators and fitters

7283 – Tilesetters

7272 – Cabinetmakers
